Hypersonic Metallization (H.M)

Hypersonic Metallization (H.M) is a thermal spraying method that combines the advantages of Arc Spray and HVOF. Arc is generated from two wires, and fuel gas such as propane is burned together with air in the combustion chamber so that the molten particles can collide with the object at high speed by ejecting them at hypersonic speed. The speed of the flame is 1200-1500m/sec and the speed of the particles is 500m/sec. It is a spray method that can have the high productivity of Arc Spray and the good quality of HVOF at the same time.
